Network is now widely and easily available. However, a user needs to specify a target to connect with by the name on the network, even when the target is in front of him/her. It is so troublesome, especially when there are lots of networked devices.
We propose gaze-link metaphor, with which a user can establish a virtual connection over network (Ethernet, IEEE802.11, Bluetooth, etc.) by looking at the target through a camera on his/her computer. The target is recognized by a visual code put on it. The virtual connection is held active while looking the target directly or looking a snapshot of the target. The user also can see the connection after the establishment. Gaze-link make establishing connection more 'intuitive' one.
