It is said that 2010 marks a beginning of a new era of environment and energy. The transition speed of the new era is even faster than that of the preceding era of Internet and IT, requiring farsighted researches.
Furthermore, economic development is shifting from advanced countries to developing countries such as Asia, South America and Africa. Considering that many of these countries do not yet have power and/or communication networks in place, it is precisely in these areas that new systems and infrastructures could be implemented.
The aim of my research is to establish new and exciting technologies and services, and to confront with the worldwide environmental and energy problems.
