[altq 371] DCLASS object?

Hi,

Can someone help me regarding the DCLASS object reservation?
(DCLASS is a proposed mechanism to obtain DSCPs (DiffServe Code Points)
from a DiffServe domain by means of - extended - RSVP signalling)
draft-ietf-issll-dclass-01.txt
draft-ietf-issll-diffserv-rsvp-03.txt

Does the current (or any) implementation of ALTQ-RSVP produce/provide
this DCLASS object?

Replies would be much appreciated...

bye,

Vang

PS. I posted a relevant question to the rsvp-isi distribution list too
(see attachment)

I am not aware that FreeBSD (as a router) generates a DCLASS object.
There
are routers/switches available form several network equipment vendors
(including Cisco) that generate the DCLASS object. Note that Win2K hosts
will by default mark packets with a diffserv mark based on the admitted
service. The DCLASS object can override the default mapping from service
type to DSCP, but is not required. This can all be demo'd using
Netmeeting
or Phone Dialer (both of which are included in the box).

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
