Hi,

I have a Realteck 8139 NIC (Network Interface Card) under my NetBSD 1.4.2 Operating System

and have the following message when trying to configure it (after ifconfig etc....).

"rl0: Wathdog Timeout" and the ping program doesn't work -> "Host is Down" (or sometimes inaceptable timings ... about 60000ms)

I would like to pass this message without changing to a 3com NIC (as 'Bulent Tatlidil' said)

So, Kenjiro Cho's message on "18 Sep 2000"

said that I have to add a patch to the "dev/pci/if_rl.c" file.

I did this, recompile my kernel and it still not working.

Does someone have a solution for me ?
