[altq:1795] newbie question on altq+rsvp

hi
i have altq installed and working on my openbsd machine
i want to get rsvp on top of that.
what are the steps in this process?
do i just untar the rsvp distribution(from isi) into RSVP-ROOT and do the 
following as suggested by altq-documentation:

"Prepare the RSVP distribution from ISI."
	
what does Prepare mean here?

	% cd ALTQ_DIST/rsvpd-kit
	% cp patch4.2a4 tc_altq.c RSVP-ROOT/rsvpd/
	% cd RSVP-ROOT/rsvpd

	here "RSVP-ROOT" is where you put the rsvp distribution.

	    % patch < patch4.2a4

	    % make

	    # cp ALTQ_DIST/rsvp-kit/altq.conf /etc/altq.conf

alternatively before doing the above steps should i have to do something more 
than just untarring the rsvp distribution?
I am new to the world of openbsd and even newer to altq, so please excuse me 
if I am asking elementary questions.
