[altq 447] Wavelan wi driver support?

We plan on doing some experimentation with CBQ over wavelan cards on a
FreeBSD system.  Kenjiro's ALTQ site mentions support for the "wl"
driver.  The driver supplied with FreeBSD 4 is the "wi" driver.  I've
been trying to figure out what the "wl" driver is (or was).  Is it a
driver for a true ISA card version of the wavelan, whereas the "wi"
driver supports the PCMCIA card in an ISA adapter?  (This is a guess.)

If so I guess we've got some work to do, because we have the PCMCIA
cards in the ISA adapter.  I assume this means we have to make some
modifications to either ALTQ or the wi driver - or both, to get them to
work together.  Can you offer any guidance on this?

Any suggestions/guidance will be much appreciated.
