[altq 1094] parenting and vlan interfaces

I am setting up some b/w management on a network that is being supplied to
customers via a VLAN parent interface to a Cisco 3548 and then to the
end-user.

I would like to use altq so that it could possibly understand the
relationship between the 'parent' interface and the vlan interfaces. I do
not think the current version of altq can do this, but if it can I would be
happy to hear more.

Is the altq infrastructure built in such a way that bandwidth can be
accounted for over more than one interface or is the hierarchy etc. such as
to preclude this ?

This is OpenBSD btw, but I think the same vlan model exists on Free and Net
too.
