[altq 1147] Newbie: Limit bandwidth on Openbsd 2.8 & altq 3.0
This is what I am trying to accomplish:
Limit all traffic to 800 kbit/s, except for our DMZ,
which can be accessed at 100 Mbit/s. I am running
OpenBSD 2.8 and Altq 3.0.
I've tried the following /etc/altq.conf file:
----------------------------------
interface fxp0 bandwidth 100M hfsc
class hfsc fxp0 def_class root pshare 100 default
class hfsc fxp0 int_class root grate 90000K
filter fxp0 int_class 1.2.3.128
255.255.255.192 0 0 6
class hfsc fxp0 ext_class root grate 100K
filter fxp0 ext_class 0 0 0 0 6
----------------------------------
but I get the following error:
----------------------------------
# /usr/local/sbin/altqd
altqd[11297]: ALTQ config file is /etc/altq.conf
altqd[11297]: tbr installed on fxp0 (rate:100.00M
size:11.72K)
altqd[11297]: hfsc_class_parser: admission failure (no
bandwidth)
altqd[11297]: can't add class 'int_class' on interface
'fxp0'
altqd[11297]: Config failed. Exiting.
----------------------------------
I am new to Altq, and I realize I may be doing
something obviously wrong or stupid, but I just can't
see it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
