I have different experiences, filtering (at least) worked as expected.

hi Sundar,

I would not try to use OpenBSD on vmware for testing network
configurations. I struggled for a long time thinking my pf and altq
config files were wrong, in fact when they were copied to a real machine
they worked correctly.

Having said that I do use OpenBSD on vmware for compiling patches, etc.
and that works very well, and is especially useful as you can roll back
the disk if something does not work correctly.
