人工衛星や宇宙ステーションなどの宇宙システムを利用した技術は、わたしたちの社会活動において必要不可欠なものとなっています。その基盤を支えるひとつが通信技術であり、わたしは宇宙空間における長距離光通信の研究開発を行っています。
目指すのは宇宙光通信を誰もがつかえる身近な技術にすること。
世界をつなぎ惑星をつなぐ通信基盤の構築に自身の専門である光の技術で貢献していきます。

"I aim to open a whole new era of space optical communication"
Technologies utilizing space systems such as satellites and space stations have become essential for our social activities. Communication technology is one of the key elements supporting this infrastructure, and I am engaged in the research and development of long-distance optical communications in space.
The goal is to make space optical communications a familiar and accessible technology for everyone.
I hope to contribute to the construction of a communication infrastructure that connects the world and the planet with my specialty in optical technology.
