CEO Hiroaki Kitano and senior researcher Frank Nielsen have been named among the 2023 Stanford’s list World Top 2% scientists, as part of the “Bioinformatics” (Nakano) and “Computation Theory & Mathematics” (Nielsen), respectively. This list features the top 2% of scientists worldwide who have been cited in their respective fields.
The “2023 Stanford’s list of World Top 2% scientists” is compiled based on Scopus citation database and includes authors from 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields. The list comprises scientists who rank in the top 2% either in their subfield or among the top 100,000 scientists globally, based on a composite score known as “c-score” that considers multiple metrics, including citation counts, including self-citations.
