Development of a surrounding lighting system by using video annotations

Abstract

This paper proposes surrounding lighting system to increase realistic sensation. Several tags are annotated to timeline in a video data and are used for controlling home appliances. In order to deal with configuration and installing situation of each user, we develop a method to relate annotated tags to user's environment. This paper illustrates the details of the method to harmonize several lighting and video by using ECHONET Lite protocol.
