The article highlights the motivations behind establishing a Kyoto base, the lab’s philosophy of supporting researchers’ autonomy, and the unique cultural and geographical appeal of Kyoto.
It also introduces initiatives such as the tea room “Jakuin,” which embodies the fusion of tradition and technology, as well as perspectives on living and raising children in Kyoto.
